Spruce Decking Tatran BC 15x118x4000 mm are wooden planks with smooth and straight profile designed for interior. The long tongue (DP) prevents visible shrinkage and prevents unsightly gaps .
The boards are in their natural, untreated state. You can use wooden decking for wooden wall cladding or wooden ceiling in a room. Outside, decking of this thickness is rarely used.
You can use BC quality wherever functionality is more important than aesthetics.

Detailed Description
What is the Tatra Profile
Tatran decks are characterized by having an elongated tongue and straight edges. The tongue becomes more visible when the boards are joined to form a surface. A gap of about 1-2 cm is created between each plank, which increases resistance and stability during swelling and drying of the wood.
Quality of BC wooden decking
BC quality decking is produced in the process of manufacturing AB quality decking. Defects are already visible here. They contain 40% of quality B and 60% of quality C. The decking is dried to 12 - 16% moisture content.

Cover width of the wooden decking
The covering width of the decking is less by a pen, which is approximately 8mm less of the total width.
Example: For a 15x118 (thickness × width) decking, the covering width is 110 mm (118 mm - 8 mm = 110 mm).
Tip: Always allow the wooden decking to acclimatise (at least 14 days) in the place where you will be fixing it. This will avoid unwanted swelling or shrinkage of the decking due to other ambient moisture.
Installing the decking
Use the decking clips to attach the decking easily. The decking is untreated and the wood needs to be given a protective coating. The decking will be protected from wood-boring fungi, mould, insects and moisture.
Why are the grooves on the underside of the decking
Decking boards have grooves milled into the underside to keep them stable and free from warping.
Tip: Do not force the decking together and keep a 1mm gap between the tongue and groove. The wood is constantly working and will swell with increased humidity/temperature and vice versa.
What screws to use for decking
When using screws or nails it is important that their length is at least twice the thickness of the decking.
Interior screws - galvanised
Exterior screws - stainless steel (corrosion resistant)

We pack the wooden decking in stretch film. The whole package with the decking is tightly sealed with PVC tape.
Please note: We only sell decking in whole packs.
