What is a wooden deck?

A deck is wood processed on four sides, so you don't have to sand it further. It is dried to 12-14% moisture. There is a tongue and groove on the longitudinal sides of the boards, which are used to connect the boards into a surface.

Tip: Always let the wooden decks acclimatize (at least 14 days) in the place where you will attach them. This will avoid unwanted swelling or shrinkage of the deck due to different humidity in the environment.

Covering width

The covering width of the boards is smaller by the tongue, which is approximately 8 mm less than the total width. Example: For a deck in the size 18x146 (thickness x width), the covering width is 138 mm (146 mm - 8 mm = 138 mm)

Usage of wooden decks Classic C

The thicker version of the boards is used in outdoor and indoor spaces. C quality is not visible.

Use of boards in the interior:

• wall and ceiling cladding of a garden house.
• attic of a garden house.

Use of boards in the exterior:

• facade cladding of a garden house,
• wooden floor in a garden house,
• lining of a dog kennel.

Tip: Do not force the boards together and maintain a 1 mm gap in the tongue and groove. Wood is constantly working and with increased humidity/temperature the wood swells and vice versa.
