Facade tiles Rhombus BC Spruce 18x118x4000mm are smoothly processed facade boards without impregnation. The BC quality means that you may encounter more knots, pitches or cracking than with the AB quality.
You can read about the differences between AB and BC quality here. Planed spruce planks are light in colour with a subtle pattern of year rings. The wooden facade is easy to paint and the soft material makes it easy to work with.

Therhombus profile is a specific shape ofwooden façade planks that creates a geometric diamond shape. Rhombus is often used as a wooden facade cladding. The wooden façade creates a modern detail with a touch of nature. Rhombus spruce is popular for its aesthetic value and its ability to create a unique look in a wooden façade.
Please note: If rhombus spruce is chosen, expect more demanding maintenance. Spruce wood is not as weather resistant as European and Siberian larch.

When installing a timber façade, proper preparation is key to the lasting beauty and durability of the timber façade. Even if you are an experienced joiner, carpenter or skilled DIYer, the advice of a designer or architect is certainly worthwhile.
When installing a wooden facade, use only high-quality stainless steel material. Avoid splitting the rhombus by pre-drilling.
Maintenance and painting of rhombus facade tiles
Spruce wood is very soft and is not as tough as larch. Don't underestimate the first coat - we recommend XyladecorXylamonwoodworm and fungus control coating . For the second coat, choose a good quality facade coating . If you want to prolong the life of the facade cladding, we recommend regular maintenance, preferably impregnation every year.
