Classic pine decking in 19 mm thickness and BC quality is suitable for both interior and exterior use.

What is BC quality? BC quality decking boards consist of 40% B and 60% C. Read more about the difference between AB and BC quality.

What is wooden decking?

Decking is wood that has been machined on four sides, so you don't have to sand it further. It is dried to 12-14% moisture. There is a tongue and groove on the longitudinal sides of the boards, which are used to join the boards together to form a surface.

Tip: Always allow the timber decking to acclimatise (at least 14 days) in the place where you will be fixing it. This will avoid unwanted swelling or shrinkage of the decking due to other ambient moisture.

Cover width

The covering width of the decking is less by a pen, which is approximately 8 mm less of the total width. Example: For a 19x146 (thickness x width) decking, the covering width is 138 mm (146 mm - 8 mm = 138 mm)

Quality of wooden decking

BC-grade timber decking comprises 40% of B-grade and 60% of C-grade decking (graded according to the standard).

Uses of Klasik BC timber decking

The thicker version of the decking is used both indoors and outdoors.
Interior use:
  • Lining walls and ceilings,
  • attics,
  • floors,
  • Decking doors

Exterior use of decking:

  • Facade cladding of a garden house,
  • wooden flooring,
  • roof decking

Advantages of pine wood

Properly treated pine decking is resistant to weathering, rot and pests. It is an attractive option for those looking for a quality outdoor material at an affordable price.
Tip: Do not force the decking together and maintain a 1mm tongue and groove gap. The wood is constantly working and will swell with increased humidity/temperature and vice versa.

Wood decking maintenance

Tip: Facade cladding must always be at least 40 cm from the ground. If you are going to fix the decking horizontally, the groove must be facing downwards (to prevent water leakage).

Packaging

We pack the wooden decking in stretch film. The whole package with the decking is tightly sealed with PVC tape.
