Detailed Description
What are Abachi sauna boards?
It is a wood from the African willow tree, which is ideal as a wooden lining for the sauna. It is one of the most durable types of wood because it is very soft. It has almost zero thermal conductivity, which you will appreciate in a sauna bench, for example. The sauna board is not resinous at all, so you don't have to worry about resin leaking out and burning you. On top of that, the wood is not prone to cracking.
Caring for sauna boards
If you take good care of the wood, you will be rewarded with longevity. To prevent the wood from becoming home to bacteria and mould, it is a good idea to care for the sauna surface at least once a month. Don't look for anything complicated, clean the surface of the wood with an antibacterial product or paraffin oil.
