Sauna Decking 14x96x2400 mm Softline Quality A is the ideal decking for a sauna or bathroom where high temperatures and humidity are common. Spruce has minimal resin content, which contributes to its light colour remaining unchanged for many years.

The long tongue (DP) prevents visible shrinkage of the boards and avoids unsightly gaps during drying. The decking is in its natural, untreated state and contains knots and pitch.

What is a Softline profile

Softline decks are machined on four sides. They are characterized by a long tongue (DP), which creates a gap between the boards of about 1-2 cm when knocked down. The decks are connected by a tongue and groove system.

Care of sauna boards

If you take good care of the wood, you will be rewarded with longevity. To prevent the wood from becoming home to bacteria and mould, it is a good idea to care for the sauna surface at least once a month. Don't look for anything complicated, clean the surface of the wood with an antibacterial product or paraffin oil.

Sauna decking and combinations

Enliven spruce by combining it with another type of wood. For interior accessories such as benches, African abachi willow or aspen are perfect. These woods maintain a cool surface even at high temperatures. If you're looking for a contrast to light spruce, consider using a darker material.
