Spruce HVAC timbers in Nsi quality in dimensions 60x180x5000 mm are planed and have bevelled edges. Nsi prisms are ideal as a construction material that may show signs of visual defects such as bluing or minor defects that do not affect the strength of the material. If you are not bothered by minor variations, you can also use Nsi quality as a visual quality. It is still a high quality planed prism that is subject to established standards. The material is dried to 15% humidity with a 3% tolerance, which means that wood-destroying fungi and insects are destroyed due to the high temperatures during drying. The material is stable, does not warp or crack.

Planed prism vs. KVH prism
You can find both variants on the market. Each has different characteristics and manufacturing process that you should know before buying. However, both are planed prisms made from wood dried to 15% (+-3%) moisture content, and have bevelled edges. The low moisture content naturally protects the wooden prisms against pests. Another essential characteristic is that it is the same width and height throughout its length.
