Detailed Description
Processing of planed boards
The edged planks are machined on four sides. They are chamber-dried to 12 ± 2% moisture. The boards are not tongue and groove.
AB quality boards
AB grade quality offers lightness, strength, smooth processing with minimal defects.
How to assemble planks
The planks are anchored using screws or nails.
Tip: We recommend leaving small gaps between the planks when attaching them. This prevents moisture retention, thus allowing the planks to maintain dimensional stability even in high humidity. This method of mounting makes it easier to replace one or more boards if necessary.
Once the planks have been assembled, apply a protective coating suitable for wood.
How to store planks
Wooden planks are stored horizontally in areas with good ventilation to prevent possible scorching and subsequent changes in wood properties such as discolouration, warping and cracking.
