TheBangkirai PREMIUM Patio Plank 25x145x4570mm is a luxurious Bangkirai tropical wood patio that creates a unique place to relax. The view side has fine grooving, the underside has coarser grooves. The floor can be used on both sides.
Thepatio planks are highly durable, hard and long lasting. Thecore wood (dark wood layer) is in a characteristic dark reddish-brown colour.

What is Bangkirai Premium Exotic Wood
Bangirai Premium is a four-sided engineered patio board ideal for luxury patios. The PREMIUM grade means the highest quality planks, which is graded from the lower STANDARD grade.
Features of Bangkirai wood
APPEARANCE
- There may be colour differences between individual planks and this is so common and natural.
- The surface may contain small insect holes, pitch and small cracks but none of these affect its properties.
RESISTANCE
- Bangkirai is one of the most durable woods, being resistant to mould and insects due to its high wood density of 850 to 1155 kg /m3.
- There are no visible summer rings on Bangkirai .
- Cutting edges are waxed - the wax eliminates moisture penetration and prevents drying.
- The service life can be up to 30 years.
- Wooden decking has a maximum moisture content of 25%.
- The tannin contained can leach out when it rains, which can discolour the surroundings (in the early months).
Maintenance of Bangkirai wood
If you leave exotic Bangkirai wood without regular maintenance, it will gradually acquire a pleasant grey patina - it does not affect the quality of the wood (only the aesthetics).
We recommend choosing prisms made of the same materialto create the grate.
Thefirst coat should be applied after a certain period of time after installation, when the tannin is naturally excluded from the wood. To apply the coating, it is advisable that the terrace is thoroughly cleaned and completely dry.
Always use stainless steel screws for fixing to avoid staining the wood, which could be difficult to remove.
How to store a wooden patio
Wooden decking should be stored horizontally in an area with good ventilation to prevent possible steaming or drying out.
